Experiential Learning (EL)

(Student Teaching in Adolescent Classrooms) Full-day supervised teaching for 14 weeks at the appropriate grade level in a cooperating school and a weekly seminar. This course is graded only on a SCR/D/Fail basis. (There is a licensure portfolio scoring fee for this class of $300.) Prerequisite: Education 419/420 or 422 with a grade of B- or better. Meets concurrently with EDUC 521. For 500-level credit, additional coursework is required.
