This course will compare parallel structures and concepts in two closely related Abrahamic faiths. Topics may include the meaning of faith, revelation, sacred texts and prophecy; ethical teaching (justice and mercy); worship and sacred places, times, symbols and observances; ways to God and relationships with fellow humans; messianism and goals for a better life in the world and the afterlife; diversity internal and pluralistic. No prerequisites. .
